Display, UI, Digital Campaigns



Virgin Holidays, a major English tour operator, was looking for a solution to scale his national campaign from traditional media to digital channels. To help the transition I worked together with the Creative Director and the Display Team at Forward3D to create and implement a series of data driven dynamic templates that aimed at increasing the trafficking efficiency by producing an exponential number of display creatives while using a reduced number of builds. The templates, fed using external data, were able to serve a dynamic relevant message based on strategy, site traffic, audiences, geo location, and time.

We run different campaigns over several dynamic profiles using Google DoubleClick Studio, combining different data points such as: holiday destination, price, gateway location (nearest airport to the location of the user). A total of about 32000 dynamic variations have been achieved. Video versions of the creatives, using a similar layout, were pitched to the client and implemented at a later stage, while the campaign was running.
