Minimetrò is the result of a collaboration between Perugia Municipality and the French architect Jean Nouvel. The project is a cable propelled systems inscribed in the complicated topography of hills that characterizes the land of Perugia, Italy. It has a length of three kilometres and has been thought as a public transport to relieve the inner city of car traffic.

I had the pleasure of collaborating with the design studio that developed its entire visual identity taking part in the design of its signage system for which I created a series of evacuations maps inspired by Massimo Vignelli’s isometric grid used on NYC Subway’s schematics. Every element of the maps, from the layout all through icons and typeface have been custom designed by the in-house team for the purpose.
